i tried so hard to look past the snow
on the top of that mountain
and i cried so hard when i
found out i couldn't laugh anymore
everything i did got bigger and
everything i touched sank lower

i think i lost your name in the sand
to get it back
i lost both of my hands
i reached in and died
ive never felt that kind of alive

breathed us in slowly
spit us out quickly
my shape bent to a square
your face wears no tears
i say we're still the same

my breathing patterns
keep me awake
i was afraid my dreams
couldn't fix me
if i wake up with bad vision
i probably had a collision
i only meant to let them free
