i hear it go by and it
turns everything around
like it should be

i've got this beautiful song
stuck in my head
and it wont let me go
it knows i know

i laugh to let it pass
and sometimes that makes things worse
when i just want them to melt away
i dont know how i got here
i thought i was okay the other day
maybe i forgot
we're only the same for today

while i was asleep
someone touched me
when i was leaning
someone pushed me
when im ready to leave
i don't think anyone will keep me

i think that theres a reason
we can't look at the light anymore
it's because we're afraid
it wont take us anywhere
i dont see how you can
live without this anymore
