making it so dark
in here

the sheet you wear
is so dirty but
i wash it

i could see you walking
down the street
unnoticed

you make this all go away

no one knows
where the sun
does go,
when it's dark
and it's cold,
it could melt
or explode
and no one
would know.

when i'm quiet
and confined
somewhere buried
in my mind
there is a place
you could find
where the sun
never shines
if your eyes
looked through mine.

like a flash of light
felt like a day
warm for a moment
then went away
but no one else
watched the dismay
which my face did display
the day the whole
world decayed.
