Creepy Coincidences

Chrissy told me a story about how she visited a psychic the other day. The psychic came over to her and said "I'm getting a long 'E' name from you." Chrissy said "Could it be 'Ermelinda'?" (Ermelinda is the name of my Aunt who died in 1999). The Psychic responded "She says hi, and that she's doing fine" and Chrissy nodded, the Psychic continued and said "She also said to tell Louis 'hi'." Louis is the name of my Uncle, who was married to my Aunt Linda and was with her up until the day she died. Chrissy told my Uncle Louis all of this on the 4th of July as the three of us stood on the corner of the block, preparing to watch the fireworks show. I don't think I'll ever believe in psychics and I don't really have any thoughts about heaven or the afterlife, but if my aunt really is there reaching out to talk to my family, that would be a very comforting thought.

Dream #20:

I'm in my apartment with my roommate. I don't think it's my real roommate, just someone from the dream world. Anyway, we're chilling like normal and decide to go for a walk throughout the town. We learn that Randy (idk who the f* randy is...) just got a job as the new mailman, and Tommy's dog just had a new puppy. As we're walking around the block, we meet up with the town "hottie" (he's a black man that looks and sounds like Morpheus from the Matrix). Morpheus tells us his son, nicknamed Einstein, is in town, back from college.

Me and my roommate go back to my room where we decide to chill out and relax for a little bit. As we're hanging out, I notice that she's acting a bit funny. Suddenly, she lunges at me with a tiny blade. Her and I wrestle for a few minutes before I finally manage to disarm her and toss the blade away. Thinking that's it, I try to talk to her. Suddenly she pulls out another blade and attacks again, scratching me softy. I deflect the blade and realize that she's not human. She's a vampire (even though she never actually shows me her fangs). Apparently the history of Vampires is revealed as we fight- Vampires were made real again in 1973 by some sort of meteor shower phenomena, and then again in 1993. There are a bunch of people walking around who have been turned into vamps, and my roommate is one.

I throw her second blade away too, and I'm quite content, when she pulls out a third of these small annoying little blade. It pisses me off so I manage to deflect it away. I grab a large cutting knife from the kitchen and I hold my roommates wrists together with one hand, and I hold the large kitchen knife at her with the other. We start wrestling on the kitchen floor, fighting for the knife. She purposely bends the knife towards herself and lightly cuts into her own skin. Suddenly she gets her hand free and grabs a knife. I reach my hand out to disarm her, but I have to stop when I realize her other hand is also free and it has another knife... and that other knife is pressing into my stomach.

I drop my fight and start to back up, but she really wants to kill me. I look around our apartment, which is littered with small tiny blades, and then I look back at her, where she's now armed with two knives and is tracing lines on my forearm. I realize she won't let me escape, but I stumble back and retreat into my bedroom. She laughs and lets me close the door and leave, because she wants my fear to build while I'm trapped in my room.

Once I lock the door I pick up my cellphone and start calling 911. I can't get the automatic emergency call feature to work on my droid though and I'm freaking out. I hear her in the hallway making phonecalls and I realize that I can't get a call out at all because she's blocking it somehow. With her distracted though, I decide to leave through the glass screen door in my bedroom, and run for help. No sooner have I left then I'm greeted with a two police cars. I run at the officer crying and tell him I'm being attacked by a vampire. He nods and understands. Suddenly my roommate comes bursting out the front door and says that she's the one who called 911, and that I'm the one who attacked her with a knife.

I try to explain that that isn't true, but she starts to show him all these bloody wounds she has. Just when I think the police officer is going to believe her story to mine, he stops and kills her. I'm so relieved.

I find out though, that no one in the neighborhood knew what happened... so no one will believe me about the vampires. The reason for this is because: due to Randy's new mailman job, he came to deliver the mail a lot earlier. Tommy and his pup were out being walked really early, too. Morpheus was asleep.

The next day I'm lazily walking around my yard, when Morpheus' son, Einstein comes up to me. He's got a strange, other-worldly aura around him, which I guess I find attractive. He brings me some sort of food he cooked, and I invite him inside to eat with me. He smiles and says, "no thank you, it's not a good idea". After I insist a few times, he still says no, so I give up. I leave to go inside, and as I turn my back and start to go up my porch steps, the dream ends by showing me Einstein's eyes flash purple, and he smiles to reveal a gleaming set of vampire teeth.

It would've been cool if the dream had ended there, but then some weird closing credits sequence played. In it, a man (who looked like Bill Gates) seemed super excited about being a vampire and sang and danced around, until I set spider-man loose on him. When he caught him, the Bill-Gates guy, spiderman, and I"m pretty sure Topher Grace sat down to get high. As they were smoking weed, the Bill Gates guy said he loves 1993, and I told him that it wasn't 1993... but 1973. Topher Grace nodded and affirmed that. The the rest of the cast from that 70s show joined Topher grace and started talking about something which Jackie couldn't understand. When Jackie asked why she didn't know what they meant, Donna told her it was because she never rode the "dick donkey".

And on those eloquent terms, I woke up.

Waking up was mega creepy btw, because my dream took place in the actual layout of my apartment. So I definitely was looking for blades on the floor as I walked to my bedroom, and I noted my closest exit through the glass-screen door, should it be necessary.

One Long Sleepless NIght

Dream #18: I'm in some sort of greenhouse/sun room, and there are computers everywhere. My mom is on one, I'm on one, and there's another one somewhere else. My mom asks me to buy her tickets one of her friends concerts that she knew from high school, so I said sure, and that friend happened to be Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga decided also that she would like to stop buy while I'm trying to use ticketmaster. Unfortunately, I flip out because the computer I'm on doesn't have virus protection, and I think that *that* is the most important thing going on at the moment. My mom tells me to just install it, but I respond that because it's a netbook, there's no optical drive, so the CD-ROM is useless. Then I have a stroke of genius and tell my mom that my Norton Anti-Virus has a download link for three separate computers because I paid for the software, so I can download it straight onto the laptop. Crisis averted. Meanwhile, as I'm using flashdrives and download bars, Lady Gaga is asking me how to use the ticketmaster site. I explain she needs to log on with her password, and she tells me she hasn't used it since high school. The whole time I'm thinking, "can't you just buy out the whole arena?"

Dream # 19: I'm in high school again with a whole buncha high school people. Danny Chang is passing back our Math hw and quizzes. He passes back one quiz to me and it's a 4/15. He and I laugh and shrug and say that college is so hard, grades don't matter. But then I realize that the teacher made an error and dslyexically wrote 15/4 instead, so I tell Danny to bring it back to the teacher so she can take the points off and mark it correctly in her book.
